The Garden

Botanist Joseph Banks and his draftsman Sydney Parkinson sailed with Captain Cook on the Endeavour voyages from 1768 to 1771, taking records of the new plantlife as they encountered them. This interactive projection created specifically for projection on The Captain Cook Museum in Middlesborough encorporated elements from these drawings, a collaboration across the centuries.

Parts of the animation were interactive allowing multiple, simultaneous user engagement with the projection through mobile devices, controling insects flying and crawling over the building
